WHAT MOTHERHOOD MEANS IN THE BALLROOM COMMUNITY FOR VICE AND TOMMY HILFIGER
On Mother's Day in 2022, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to Vice's groundbreaking campaign for Tommy Hilfiger, where we embarked on a journey to redefine the essence of Motherhood. Through the lens of ballroom house, specifically House Of Silky, we set out to recontextualise the meaning of motherhood, challenging conventional norms and celebrating the diversity of experiences within this realm.
From the very inception of the campaign, I was involved in shaping its artistic direction, starting with the original pitch artwork. Witnessing the evolution of the project from its early stages to the final photoshoot and the creation of a captivating mini-documentary was an absolute privilege.
